Hello wannaknowwhy, Here in lies a mystery and a secret of the saints of this world, we speak out and when were done we pray for the person we spoke out against. The mass majority could never understand this. because they only understand things from there own perspective. So when they speak out against, alls they know is hate. But we speak because we love the truth and hope a few more will be saved. The world cannot understand, because this is total freedom and not letting man effecting your actions. Jesus says no greater love than one has than the one who lays down their life for their friends, So when we leave our old life, and preach the truth, there is no greater love in this world than to save a soul from the sting of death! these facts that I write to you, should make it alot easier to love your enemies. I f you love the truth, you speak the truth for truth's sake, who is truth? a person, JESUS CHRIST! it's irrelevant who is listening. so be it. Also refer to proverbs and eccl. as to the state of the country when an inexperienced leader is in office. what shall we say to the fool who voted for him when we see his results. I dont want to say it, but it will be we told ya so. but these people have no vision, most who cry and wanted the goverments help. Are the same people who hate when the government interfers with there life unless it's a handout. the same people who stand in line at govt. agencies and cry about the beauracracy and that they are there for hours. I don't want to hear it. don't they cry me, me, me but don't want to sacrifice anything for it. start blaming yourselves. for the condition your in. RESPECT- OXFORD DEFINITION: Admiration felt toward a person or thing thay has good qualities or achievments, politeness arising from this. which achievment should we admire. his bomber buddy, jeremiah wright, his cowardness for turning his back on christ when he speaks to muslims, and then when he speaks to christians turns his back on allah. by that definition, absolutely not, obviously. You know that kid in high school, who does everything the bullies tell him to do. Obama believes nothing, except whatever his audience will accept. Some would call me non-american, But wouldn't George Washington be crying right now. Thats it for now.

Jesus told his disciples to pray for (render unto Caesar) the authorities ... even though they were oppressed by the authorities. Paul said Pray for those in authority because all authority is given by God. I pray for Obama every day ... that God will bless him with exactly what he needs. It isn't up to me to pray anything else for him. (I respect the office of President ... but I don't respect the man who is currently holding that office because he is selling our country's sovereignty for pats on the back from the Muslim world. He is NOT "MY" president but he is the president of the United States so I pray for him.)
As for "jump[ing] down [your] throat" ... we save that for hard heads that insist on coming on this anti-Word of Faith site and spouting Word of Faith doctrine with proof-texts and bombast.

This forum seems to get a little heated so I ask please just give me a educated bible based answer and don't jump down my throat. Every question I ask is to further my faith and make me a better well informed christian. With that said conservitives gave prayers and stood behind Bush when he was in office. he said he was a christian but did things most of us would think opposed God's word(said gay lifestyle was private and personal and appointed a gay man to head national aids council, bowed and clapped at a Shinto Temple in japan the formal act of worship). Obama said he is a christain but we all know his view's on gays and Islam. But Bush got a pass and Obama is the "devil". I am not a liberal by no means of the word but to say I'm a conservitive and not pray for Obama would make me look a hypocrite. Right?
