NBC's Today Show has just announced that it is opening its annual wedding contest to "gay" couples.  It declares itself a friend of the gay community and will consider holding a "marriage" of out-of-state homosexuals who have a valid license from their homestate.
That's enough for me.  To promote this type of behavior at 8 a.m. on midweek television means they are trying their best to declare homosexuality and so-called "gay marriage" legitimate!
NBC has lost another viewer ... me ... and my family.
If you wish to defy the laws of God and commit homosexual acts ... that's your business.  But if you flaunt those acts in public, I have a right to defy YOU and tell you what I think ... and that's MY business!
No.  I do NOT approve of homosexuality ... NOR do I approve of adultery, fornication, "man/boy love", child pornography, crucifixes in urine, beating up anyone you disagree with, lying (and yes, like everyone I'm guilty of this), theft, murder, envy ... whatever.  I wouldn't want anyone who participates in any of the things I disapprove flaunting the fact that they do them ... I am NOT a "homophobe" ... I am a Christian who feels saddened that so many people have swallowed the modern misbelief that homosexuality cannot be helped when the studies that proclaimed that so loudly later admitted that they had skewed the evidence and there is no such thing as a "gay gene"!
I am a Christian who has homosexual, trangendered and bisexual friends who know exactly how I feel and respect me as an individual as I respect them as individuals ...and they know I pray for them to learn and accept the truth of Christ every day.
I will not watch NBC anymore ... not because I hate homosexuals but because I hate those who promote a false hopelessness concerning the ability of homosexuals to change just as thieves, murderers, the envious and liars can change!
