Joh 7:36 What manner of saying is this that he said, Ye shall seek me, and shall not find me: and where I am, thither ye cannot come?
To think that we can not find God is a thought that is far from our minds, but if it were possible that Jesus could not be found is an unimaginable sorrow in the back of my mind. Reminds me of the song, "where would I be without the Lord." In this verse he was speaking of his death.
Joh 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.
To imagine that Jesus Christ cried lets me know that this was his greatest desire for all of mankind. If your soul hungers the presents of God you will be found of him in a greater way, it is the contrite soul that will not be despised.
Joh 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.
What a River! Its the most powerful thing ever!
Joh 7:39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)
When was it given to the church first and what was the evidence thereof?
Php 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. Php 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Php 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
Sit back and meditate on that.
Sometimes, we have to just forget all that is going on around us, in the church world, our lives, and just think positive. Because its not all about us anyway, and we can't carry the burden all by ourselves. Let the God of peace RULE! The other night I received a message in my spirit and these are the exact word I received, "God's opinion towords you, is Good." So you know it doesn't matter what the enemy of our soul thinks about us. I know we all know this intuitively, but at the time i guess the Lord wanted to add a little word to it.
Jer 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Jer 29:12 Then shall ye call upon me, and ye shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
