I got nothing for you on the 45 day difference....

I do like the reference to "wait and remain" during these days...

I didn't mean to sound like we shouldn't discuss it or that we shouldn't study it or ask questions, and I'm sorry if I came off that way. I don't mean to be discouraging at all.

Good grief, Saint!
I just thought this might be an interesting topic to discuss I didn't expect God Himself to weigh in and tell me what it means! biggrin
I agree that we can't narrow things down and pinpoint ANYthing when it comes to prophecy ... but if we can't talk about it and get different opinions then WHY IS IT EVEN IN THE BIBLE???
Maybe it became too much for you because of where you were coming from (your motivations or whatever) but some of us still like to discuss possibilities without ever getting bogged down in, "YEH! THAT's exactly what that means!"aww

End time prophecy is one of my favorite subjects, but I have neglected to study it for some years now. I came to the conclusion that we cannot figure out every last detail, and it often leads to error when people attempt to do so. Think about how many scholars missed out on Christ's first coming because they thought they had the prophesies figured out down to the last detail. Before He came, it was impossible to know that the OT told of two separate comings of the Messiah, so it seemed that there were contradictory prophesies. Those who recieved Him the first time were those who knew the Scriptures but instead of thinking that they had it all figured and closed their minds, they watched as it unfolded and knew that prophecy was being fulfilled before their eyes. I think that this is the best way to be with His Second Coming. Sorry I can't answer your question specifically.

Okay Bible scholars! BOY! Do I have a question for YOU!
This has driven me crazy for YEARS ... I believe it hints that the "Bowls of the Wrath of God" during the Tribulation will be poured out during the last 45 days of the Tribulation with everything that comes before being a result of the "wrath" of the Antichrist against God's people. But I'm open to suggestion here.
NOW FOR THE REFERENCE: Daniel 12:11&12 (New Living Translation) "From the time the daily sacrifice is stopped and the sacrilegious object that causes desecration is set up to be worshiped, there will be 1,290 days. And blessed are those who wait and remain until the end of the 1,335 days!"
WHY IS THERE A 45-DAY DIFFERENCE IN THESE TWO NUMBERS???

I'd like to hear from a lot of people about this.
