I lived in Michigan for years ... I know how the very best universal healthcare system in the world works.  It doesn't.
Canadians regularly cross the border into Michigan and other border states to get the healthcare they need.  While the care given in Canadian hospitals is excellent, it takes forever to get in.  People with cancer normally wait between three and six months for treatment.
My daughter, who was in the Navy, says she can clearly see what universal healthcare will bring to the U.S. because she worked in a Naval Hospital and in a Health Clinic for navy families.
She explains that people who have access to unlimited care, while not intentionally exploiting the system, DO end up misusing it.  They come in for the sniffles, for a sty or a cold sore, for whatever.  All the things that happen in life where we tell ourselves, "well, if it isn't better by tomorrow ..."
Universal Healthcare is a bad, Bad, BAD idea!

Unconstitutional taxation is theft.  Plain and simple.  It is the government forcing one to give money to another.  In my opinion, all social programs are unconstitutional and unbiblical.  The government is usurping the chuch's role in helping the poor.  Just my opinion.

This subject has nothing to do with Salvation.  It was posted as it affects all people, Christians and non-Christians alike.  I feel that anything to do with Universal (Government) run programs are just another step to taking away control by the people and this is just another step to Socialism.  Under Socialism, Christians would suffer much more than you can imagine.

Thanks for asking.

God Bless

your or anyone "support or do not support" does it matter?

It is already widely recognized that the majority of the American population is not in support of this extremely (taxpayer) costly proposal. But, as is also known, the bill is still being fabricated, tweaked, or otherwise someway is trying to be figured out to "shove it down the public's throat".

p.s. How does this help get someone saved?

What are your thoughts on the Healthcare Bill President Obama is trying to get passed through Congress?
