By YOUR words you are justified.... by YOUR words you are condemned. Assertively Speak Knowledge.  HE is my very breath.... I am a loved child of HIS.

I am neither bitter, stubborn nor unforgiving.  I have never mocked God in my Christian walk and live in fear and awe of Him as the Bible says we must.  I love Him with all my being and would never do ANYTHING to treat Him with disrespect.

I am not bitter, but I am much wiser since I went through what I went through in the WoF movement.  I repeat the story because I hope to help others see the foolishness of believing God is some sort of vending machine we can demand stuff from and expect "full compliance."

No one (including Frozen) has asked my forgiveness or has given me any reason to believe they are repentant.  This site is here to educate people to the vile witchcraft teachings of WoF (also known as Blab it and Grab it).

I will be stubborn when it comes to protecting God's word.  And if you insist on pressing the Word of God into a shape not recognizable to those of us who acknowledge the SOVEREIGN WILL OF GOD ... then, yes and yes I WILL delete you.

To speak as Frozen speaks, "You need to check what the Bible says... These aren't my words, they are the writers' words".

I never said you were a dog (although the importunate widow likened herself to a dog).  We are loved children of God ... absolutely ... but we need to see the greatness (power, immensity, majesty) of God and we need to acknowledge that.

We are (in power) as grasshoppers are to humans when we compare ourselves to God.  And we need to acknowledge that GOD HAS THE RIGHT TO DECIDE WHAT IS GOOD FOR US AND TO GIVE US EXACTLY THAT EVEN IF WE DON'T LIKE HIS DECISION.

As a parent, have you never told your beloved child that they could not have something they (really, Really, REALLY, REALLY, REALLY) WANTED?  Of course you have because you know more than they do and you don't want them to come into harms way.    THAT IS WHAT GOD DOES FOR US. He protects us from ourselves.

Yes.  If you begin taking over this site and trying to recruit people to the Word of Faith garbage as FrozenChosen has done in the past I WILL SUMMARILY DELETE YOUR POSTS.

Romans 8:11

11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.

Romans 8:16-17

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

1 John 4:13

13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit.

1 John 5:13

13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

Hebrews 4:14-16

14Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

15For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

16Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

To think less of ourselves, than what God (the Heavenly Father) thinks of us, and then to say that this is what it means to be humble, is PRIDE. No where in the verses above does it state that as a child of God are we to come to Him like a dog.

Are there times when we should prostrate ourselves in worship to Him? Yes. But there is more written about us as His Children giving Him thanks for what we are because of Jesus, and because our Heavenly Father sent Jesus to be the Savior of the world.

1 Corinthians 15:57

57But thanks be to God, which gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 2:14

14Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

I will prostrate my body before God, but I am a child of God NOT a dog. Jesus made me worthy to be an heir with Him, adopted acceptable before my Heavenly Father. Pretty sure He would rather have my heart than my belly. Very sure He would rather I have FAITH in Him than I lick His hand. Why do you always sell short what Jesus gave to us and what God thinks of us? Why do you find it easier to believe that God is harsh. Will you delete my posts just as you have deleted Frozen's words? He posted God's words from the Bible....

This sight is appropriately named... FORGOTTEN WORD.... you have no clue what His words are or what they mean. Your heart is hard and you are deceived. Without Faith it is impossible to please Him. What will be your excuse on judgement day? The one person you won't be able to blame is Frozen... he tried to teach you, but you do not have ears to hear. Don't wait too long to ask the Lord's forgiveness... He can come at any time.

I do not share your opinion's of God. He is an awesome creator and Father. You are bitter, stubborn and unforgiving.... truly not good Christian traits.  Remember, God judges the heart and is never deceived or mocked.

Hebrews 13: 15 Amplified Bible (AMP)

15Through Him, therefore, let us constantly and at all times offer up to God a sacrifice of praise, which is the fruit of lips that thankfully acknowledge and confess and glorify His name.

Matthew Henry Commentary on Hebrews 13: 15 - 16

v. 15, 16. Now what are the sacrifices which we must bring and offer on this altar, even Christ? Not any expiatory sacrifices; there is no need of them. Christ has offered the great sacrifice of atonement, ours are only the sacrifices of acknowledgment; and they are, 1. The sacrifice of praise to God, which we should offer up to God continually. In this are included all adoration and prayer, as well as thanksgiving; this is the fruit of our lips; we must speak forth the praises of God from unfeigned lips; and this must be offered only to God, not to angels, nor saints, nor any creature, but to the name of God alone; and it must be by Christ, in a dependence upon his meritorious satisfaction and intercession. 2. The sacrifice of alms-deeds, and Christian charity: To do good, and to communicate, forget now; for with such sacrifices God is well pleased, v. 16. We must, according to our power, communicate to the necessities of the souls and bodies of men; not contenting ourselves to offer the sacrifice of our lips, mere words, but the sacrifice of good deeds; and these we must lay down upon this altar, not depending upon the merit of our good deeds, but of our great high priest; and with such sacrifices as these, adoration and alms thus offered up, God is well pleased; he will accept the offering with pleasure, and will accept and bless the offers through Christ.

A cross reference to Hebrews 13: 15 found in Isaiah: Isaiah 57:19

19Peace, peace, to him who is far off [both Jew and Gentile] and to him who is near! says the Lord; I create the fruit of his lips, and I will heal him [make his lips blossom anew with speech in thankful praise].

Psalm 103

Ps 103:1 <David.] Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.

2 Bless the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:

 3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;

 4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;

5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.

The word BLESS:

$rbBarak (baw-rak');  Verb, Strong #: 1288

  1. to bless, kneel
    1. (Qal)
      1. to kneel
      2. to bless
    2. (Niphal) to be blessed, bless oneself
    3. (Piel) to bless
    4. (Pual) to be blessed, be adored
    5. (Hiphil) to cause to kneel
    6. (Hithpael) to bless oneself
  2. (TWOT) to praise, salute, curse

Some New Testament instruction:

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

 16 Rejoice evermore.

17 Pray without ceasing.  (this does not mean to be asking or begging God without ceasing. See verse 16 and verse 18)

18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Colossians 3:16-17

16Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

17And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

A lot of the old hymns are unscriptural to say the least. I have been in churches when an overhead projector is used, and the songs sung were from the Scriptures in the Word of God to include WORSHIP songs, and PRAISE songs. These were by far the most uplifting, since the songs were from Gods Word and not some opinion of man.

Some of the choreographed movements some with flags, or banners is nothing more than just a show so other people can see whomever is doing the presentation,

Worshipping God should be as Hebrews states us making a sacrifice or to put it more simply, laying aside our selves, or selfishness and just giving God the honor, reverence, and glory that is due Him because He (God) so loved the world that He made a way for sinners to become His Children and for His GOODNESS AND MERCY that ENDURES forever! And why would it be a sacrifice, because during this time of reverence and worship, the focus is where it should be, and not on self.

I think it's interesting that many modern Christians (even Pastors) say that "worship" is like saying "Acknowledge the worth of God or give him 'worth-ship' ".

In reality, the word itself (in both Greek and Hebrew roots) implies a crouching before, or lying prostrate before God ... in the Greek, the Strong's Exhaustive Concordance adds the idea of fawning over or licking the hand of God as a dog licks his master's hand to curry favor.

Think about it ... how long since YOU (all you readers) ... have "fawned over" God as your dog fawns over you (rolls over and shows his belly to show you his submission to you, etc.)?... have lain prostrate before him in adoration so intense you are speechless?

Maybe we need to begin to pray for that intense kind of spirit of worship to enter our times with him.

Just a thought.

Worship... time spent with the Lord.  Thanking Him for the many things He blesses us with. Speaking in tongues or singing in tongues at church or at home or with people of like faith. If the songs make you feel close to the Lord, happy, joyful, grateful to be His child, uplifting.
Songs that help you realize the blessings are for now... NOT the sweet bye-n-bye. For me it also means just saying thank you Father for being in my life and thank you Jesus for being my Savior.

All good things are from GOD.  He deserves thanks and Praise and worship... from the heart.

We often come together to "worship the Lord" but what does that mean to you?

If you think of worship as something that draws YOU to HIM ...

What are the elements of worship that lift you into His presence?

Music? if so, what kind of music ... classical? Hymns? contemporary? ... which do you prefer?

Vocal Praise? if so, what kind? Loud and boisterous? quiet and contemplative?

Dance?  Extemporaneous ("as the Spirit moves you")? Choreographed (watching or participating?)

But in any event is this drawing of You to Him truly what worship is about?

There's a quartet song I remember that says, "I long so much to feel the touch others seem to feel ... but if I never feel that touch I'll love you even still ..."

Can worship be something that we do FOR GOD rather than for ourselves?

How does that work?

How about churches where worship seems to be a show ... with a group of nice looking young people, well-dressed and creating music on the platform while the words are flashed on a screen and the "audience" sings along?  What should we think of them.

And, while we're at it, what do you think of the song, "I'm coming back to the heart of worship"?  What does it mean to you?
