RE: Be Careful Who you call False

You are right. I do not know Kim Clements-- I did not know that this blog was specifically refering to him.  I was speaking in general concerning false prophets, teachers, and leaders. I have been oversees for many years, and there are many "spiritual leaders" that I do not know in other words, I am not familiar with their teachings and beliefs. If I was supporting a person's ministry, I would most definitely do my homework. I believe that I have the right to know what one believes and teaches. We all do. I am on the Lord's side; therefore, I prefer to stick with the scripture. I am not in the business of justifying or condemning a person. Either people follow, teach, live, and preach the Word of God or they don't. I choose to follow the Lord and those who live and preach in accordance with God's Word.
"Be careful who you call false," stood out to me because I was reprimanded for sending people a link about Mormonism. I was told by the chaplaincy that this site was a hate site, and I was actually threatened with a complaint also-- only because I sent a link to information about Mormonism.
Why? I personally feel that people have the right to know what Mormons believe especially since the chapel system says that they are protestant and will preach at the protestant services. We should know what they believe. However, leadership was striving to keep it a secret from the congregation. When my husband and I were told that we were expected to support all the chaplains regardless of their beliefs, we left the chapel.
The people have no rights in the chapel system.

Truth about Kim Clement!

The Prophetic call

In the year 1983 Kim Clement states that the Prophet Bill Hamon confirmed his call to be a Prophet of God. Bill Hamon has been a subscriber to the Latter Rain movement from its inception in the late 40s which the majority of the Pentecostal church rejected as heretical at first. He promotes the manchild sons of god doctrine. Today Hamon describes himself as both an apostle and a prophet that is now affiliated with Peter Wagners International Coalition of Apostles ICA known as the round table of apostles. Hamon states, In 1977 God spoke to me says I want you to start raising up a company of prophets and start menacing the leadership. Hamon wants to raise up an army of prophets which he has by laying hands on thousands throughout out the world, Clement is a part of this prophetic army. Hamon believes prophets can have a low percentage of accuracy not needing to be 100 percent correct. Clement has this same theological construct with a low success as a prophet, admitting he has missed it a number of times.

Clements ministry is a positive one that tickles the ears of his adherents. Despite what Clement says are blessings and promises to everyone, the Bible has a different story; God does not always bless but will sometimes chastise. This does not seem to be part of his policy to speak. In fact it was the thrust of the ministry of the prophets to rebuke and scold as well as to bring comfort. Isa.30:9 &10: That this is a rebellious people lying children children who will not hear the law of the LORD Who say to the seers Do not see and to the prophets Do not prophesy to us right things speak to us smooth things prophesy deceits.

Jer. 14:15: Therefore thus says the LORD concerning the prophets who prophesy in My name, whom I did not send, and who say, 'Sword and famine shall not be in this land'--' By sword and famine those prophets shall be consumed!

If a phophet makes one mistake it is very serious to God.
hes a false prophet and we must stone the guy right away.
(stressing the seriousness of the issue)

In the Old Testament God never had as severe punishment for people teaching wrong, as He did for giving false (or wrong or failed) prophecy. Prophecy is not the same as if someone is teaching on prophecy. We are always to test a prophecy by the prophets statements, the prophets are to judge and we are to discern what is said as well. Clement is either getting his prophecy from the lord or is not getting his prophecy from the Lord. The other options are: he is inserting his own teaching, or he is hearing something outside himself that is not from the Lord. We can arrive at this conclusion because he is not only inaccurate, but the delivery and content is alienated from biblical principles and language. The Bible makes it clear God only gives a true prophet one kind of prophecy, correct prophecy; 100% of the time. Once they prophesy falsely, they no longer speak for God.

(Deuteronomy 18:21-22). If a prophecy from a prophet failed to come to pass, the people were told to rid themselves of the prophet by no longer paying attention to him.

For those who want to justify this with the common excuse that everyone makes mistakes, even prophets. I have this to say: If prophets can falsely prophesy and still remain legitimate, how do we determine who is a false prophet?

The fact is that prophets have always been with us, both true and false ones. In Old Testament times in Israel when the nation was a theocracy, it was very serious matter to speak on behalf the Lord to the people. Today it is accepted with much less seriousness in the church. Essentially, there were two groups of prophets in Jeremiah and Ezekiels day, and the largest group was the false prophets who always spoke of good things of victory, blessings and rescues. Its no different today.

Clement does say that he believes in the trinity and the baptism of water as an outward sign of an inward change. Some other points would be agreeable as well. Does this mean everything he says is wrong? Of course not, but the wrong is still there and cannot be ignored, because it is very wrong

In an Interview with Matt Crouch on TBN Clement had these gems to say--let me say something to you. Most of you know that when you were sinners, you didn't have to be told of your sin. You were aware of your sin all the time. You didn't have to be told Clement goes on to say, He investigates himself and for the first time in his life, finds that there's something good inside of him, because the church and the gathering should be a place where you discover the greatness and the treasure of God that's inside of you, not the bad thing So, in other words, when they come into our presence, for the first time in their life they hear, they're saying 'there's something beautiful inside of me. There's something beautiful, there's something, I know there's something. I'm investigating, and for the first time in my life I'm finding that yes, there's a chance for me, there's a hope for me.'.. for the first time in their lives they're finding 'There's something inside of me that I never knew existed,' and they fall on their knees and worship God.

Under the heading of Doctrinal belief on Kim Clements website he explains at length exactly what he believes concerning many of the essential teachings in Christianity because some have had questions. He states in the beginning that, As you read on you will find out that my beliefs are totally scriptural. My interpretation may differ from some of the traditional Hocus Pocus but it is still within the confines of our fundamental beliefs.

Are they Scriptural? This quite a different view than anyone taught over the centuries. The simple reason is that it is not the Bibles definition of what is in man. Despite calling some of the traditional views as hocus pocus, it really is the reverse. Clement believes this treasure is not something that is put inside you when you are born again by the Holy Spirit but it is already contained inside and we discover it, we release it.

Kim Clement explains in his own words concerning the teachings of sin grace and salvation. I thought that Christianity was based on a relationship resulting from grace. My idea that each person is born with a treasure in their spirit is mocked, and I am accused of being a new age prophet because I will NOT focus on their sin but rather on their treasure emphasis his I know how a sinner feels because I have been one I do not believe that you must be born again to obtain salvation you cannot and will not make a disciple out of a sinner who has been introduced to Jesus Christ on the basis of their sinful inheritance only.

FAILED PROPHECY BY KIM CLEMENT:

Americans Will Not Be Killed in The War With Iraq.  This prophecy Failed to come true!

This prophecy was made on March 19, 2003

For years, I have felt the need to prophesy about a President who would rise up against the beast of the east and deal with him. In 1996 God spoke through me about an attack in the USA. I saw an act of violence as terrorists flew over New York.  Since then, the years to follow would provoke numerous prophecies regarding a war and the fact that God would raise up a President who would be a true Christian and who would pray. He also showed me that this President would deal with four nations; nations that supported and harbored terrorists.  In some of these prophecies the words Burning Bush were used, indicating that it would be President Bush who would be the instrument of this cleansing. On April 1st 2001, I said  America prepare yourself, you will go to war.  Subsequently, the Spirit began to share some of the details about the possible length of the battle and the outcome.  I spoke about certain attacks planned against the soldiers and the fact that God would protect them so that not one of them would be inflicted. I believe with all of my heart that America is in the perfect will of God.  A tyrant lives, and yet there are people in this nation shouting the odds about the instrument that God has chosen as his battle-axe - the President of the United States of America.  (This prophesy no longer resides on Kim Clements website. He claimed he took it off for security reasons.  Security?  What security?  Was he afraid someone would realize he spoke falsely?)

It's all about rightly dividing the word of truth dear.

People have the right to know what a prophet, evangelist, pastor or chaplain believes. The Bible warns us about false prophets, and we know them by their fruits--lifestyle, doctrine, and beliefs. The Holy Ghost leads and guides men into ALL truth; therefore, where there is error, the Holy Ghost is not presence.
There are leaders in the church world who conceal the true identity of counterfeit ministers and ministries from others in the name of and under the disguise of equal opportunity and discrimination policies. They are in collusion with the powers of darkness.
Ephesians 5:11 states, "Have nothing to do with the fruitless deeds of darkness, but rather expose them (NIV)." God Bless those of us who are on the Lord's side and who are willing to expose the devil's schemes, plots, and plans.

This site should be required reading for every one who names the name of Christ.
Isiaiah 8:20 should be a watchword for us all "To the law and to the testimony, if they speak not according to this word there is NO LIGHT in them." When will we get the message, it is only a LITTLE leven that levens the whole lump, it's the LITTLE FOXES that soil the vines. These so called "men of God' are hucksters and shameless frauds. One mark off the compass reading and you end up travelling in the wrong direction. One may be perfectly sincere in believeing what they believe, but that does not make it right. I reccomend the HBO documentary on Benny Hinn too. Supporters of Jakes, Hinn and their ilk need to re-evaluate where their faith lies, in men, false men, or in Christ, the Word of God. God has "magnified His word above His name" - IT is "forever settled in Heavne" Hallelujah! Amen!
I am from New Zealand and have recommended this site to many people already.
Blessings on ths minstry.

Chris the Kiwi.

Simply put, if a person is a TRUE prophet of God, they will not have false prophesies and there would be no need for any argument.

Prophets of the Old Testament were treated how for just one utterance of theirs claimed to be from God which was not?

I have the grace of God in my life, and it is critical to know His Voice, sometimes I felt I missed it, and many years later, it came to pass. I sense when we believe sometimes it is a warning too pray to change God's mind like Moses did. Kim warned New Orleans, and if people would silence their spirits and surrender to the Holy Spirit, we would have known what to do in twin towers. We are responsible as well, thoughts are powerful and people need to understand the power of our tongue. We keep people in one place, and God calls on people to intercede for that one individual. We need to be intercessors for our prophets, why do you think T.D. Jakes called for intercessors. I understand the power of intercessing, it is powerful, if your passionate about serving God, you would not be quick to judge, you would pray for our prophets and prophettess. When we go into warfare over the word, we are changing the courses of our lives, we obtain favor from God. God has given me many visions, but I had no understanding, then last night God gave me a voice to understand through another prophettes,it lined up with the visions and suddenly I knew and understood with my heart and went into agreement. While I was going to this revivial I asked the Lord what is my purpose for going to this revival, I have never asked the Lord this, and He said, to agree. Last night it all came together, Praise the Lord. God's timing never fails, He said be anxious for nothing, but give prayer and supplications, during that prayer and supplications God will show you where He needs you. Be blessed and may you live beyond measure and in favor.

There are many of the "Prophets" that have gotten their prophecies WRONG, Kim Clement won't be the first or the last. A couple others I could mention, Kenneth Copeland and Benny Hinn have prophesised and those did not come to pass either.

Kim Clement may have gotten some right, actually he did predict some right things BUT he also made many prophesies which did not come to pass.  Being a Prophet of the Most High God does not work that way.  ALL that God tells you to share with His people will come to pass.  IF Kim gave a prophesy a date and missed that date then it was not from God as God cannot and will not make a mistake in anything let alone a simple time frame.
For Kim to be a true Prophet of God, Kim must not miss any prophesy tellings at all.  If he does then that would make God to be a liar.  And, we all know God is no liar.  How do you explain all of Kim Clements missed prophesies?
